At the HOPI Mission School teachers are the life blood of the school’s mission to train children in the ways of the Lord. Teachers are on the front line of our task. In a difficult setting and isolation of the reservation, a teacher needs a place to call “home”. We are adding such a place with the construction of a duplex on the school campus. At present an inadequate mobile home is being used for this purpose--with its high utility bills and leaky windows it is not a place to call “home”.
